Upsetting as this may have been, this is not news.

Surely the WN aspires to more than reprinting 999 reports verbatim? How about employing a real journalist or two?

Couple of questions for the Editor of WN.... do really think this is what the people of Worcester want to read about? Do you go out and look for stories ,or do wait for them drop on your lap? Do you even notice the daily criticism ? This web site should be an online version of the printed paper,if the web site is poor, why should i start buying the paper again? Not a great advert is it. The price goes up,the standard goes down.

Chicken and the egg. If we do not buy the paper money is not available to invest in journalists. Buy the paper and you are entitled to your moan, but it is unfair to expect a good product for free. Alternatively, you could moan about the advertisers not paying enough to subsidise your free use of the site.
I suspect those local to the story may have found this item interesting.
